The Office of Prevention and Support and the Career Center are excited to present this dynamic event dedicated to exploring the journeys of first-generation professionals who have transitioned into their successful careers. Food and refreshments will be served!
Join us for an insightful panel discussion and networking session featuring Fordham alumni and employers who have navigated the unique challenges and triumphs of being first-gen students and professionals. Some topics that will be covered include:
- Choosing a career
- Creating a social support system
- Normalizing stressors and pressure
- Continuing the first-gen conversation after graduating
- Navigating classes and financial aid
- Being the first one in and the first one out

This event is open to students of Fordham College Rose Hill, Fordham College Lincoln Center, School of Professional and Continuing Studies, Gabelli School of Business Undergraduate Programs, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Graduate School of Education.
