Join Holly Young, a career counselor at the LC Career Center, on Wednesday, March 27th for quick career guidance and support from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. These meetings are designed to be easy, stress-free 10-15 minute check-ins to discuss any concerns you have about your job or internship search process. Holly has worked with undergrads, graduate students, and alumni on a range of topics related to finding jobs and internships. Her specialties in particular are in resumes & cover letters, interview prep, graduate school readiness, and discussing next steps in your career journey, but she's happy to answer any questions that you bring to the session! This panel will contain several staff from Penguin Random House's IT department who will share how IT supports the Arts. They will talk about: How publishing companies using modern tools and what tasks are involved? What are the benefits of working in IT at a publisher? How do we use data to identify books being purchased/sold, and how many? How do we use data and tech to make the book and get it out of the door? They will also touch on AI and how it can be used in publishing. The event will be Tuesday, April 2nd from 11:00am -12:30pm EST, over Zoom. You must register in order to receive the zoom link! Heritage of Pride is the nonprofit organization that plans and produces New York City’s official LGBTQIA+ Pride events. More than 800 volunteers are needed each year to put on the Pride March, PrideFest (the largest LGBTQIA+ street festival in the country), and much more! Come learn how you volunteer to support NYC Pride 2024!

During this program, CurlTalk will be actively trying to expand our scope of resources beyond typical programming. Through this event, we hope to provide valuable information regarding available resources, advice, and the tools necessary to be successful in your professional development and career journeys. This event will also serve as a networking opportunity for Fordham Students to engage with other club leaders and students. The event will consist of a panel where we will invite multiple familiar-faced and experienced Fordham professionals to share their stories and advice on various topics such as professionalism, imposter syndrome, etc. This would be a great time to expand your LinkedIn connections!

Several of our main business lines are Client Coverage, Credit Solutions and Global Treasury Management. The Commercial Banking Early Career Development Program is a two-year general analyst program focused on gaining exposure to Commercial Banking through an initial phase of business rotations followed by an immersive experience in a single business. The program will promote professional development and skill acquisition through on-the-job experience as well as formal in-person and virtual training, including an upfront introduction to credit and sales fundamentals. Program start date is July 2025. *We also have opportunities for a January 2025 start date. The Summer Internship is a structured 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of full-time employees by participating in meaningful work. You will gain exposure to Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and culture by working in an office with experienced employees. You will gain insight into Wells Fargo’s corporate and credit culture, as well as opportunities for professional development, skill acquisition, community involvement, networking, and analytical training in line of business-specific concepts.
