Ekimetrics Presents: Latine in Data

Ekimetrics Presents our first annual “Latine in Data” night!

As you may know, data science is a relatively new field with many universities only introducing data science degrees within the last couple of years. With only 7% of data scientists being Latine, we aim to diversify the field by increasing awareness and accessibility to data science roles.

This event is an opportunity for students to learn more about the field, hear from industry professionals, network, and win prizes. There will also be a résumé workshop where students are encouraged to bring their CVs and get real-time advice on what recruiters are looking for. Students will hear from Latine data professionals that will speak to their career development and perspectives of being in the tech workforce as a Latine individual.

Participating Schools:

Barnard College
Columbia University
Fordham University
New Jersey Institute of Technology
New York University
Rutgers University
