Social Impact and Non-Profit Micro-Fair Scheduled for Thursday, March 14 at Lowenstein 12th Floor Lounge, Lincoln Center Campus
The Fordham Career Center is proud to host the Social Impact and Non-Profit Micro-Fair on Thursday, March 14, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lowenstein 12th Floor Lounge at Fordham University, 113 West 60th Street, New York City. The Social Impact and Non-Profit Micro-Fair will welcome students from all majors and academic backgrounds to network with employers, discover potential career paths, and learn about job and internship opportunities in industries centered on community outreach, social justice, and social impact.
The Social Impact and Non-Profit Micro-Fair has seen several different iterations since its inception in 2018. However, it has always welcomed industry leaders to connect with students who aspire to pursue a purpose-rooted career. This year, nearly 30 employers will attend, including:

- Jesuit Volunteer Corps
- KIPP NYC
- New York City Council
- Nuasin Next Generation Charter School
- Peace Corps
- Reading Partners New York
- The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights
- U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Diplomatic Security
“The Social Impact and Non-Profit career fair brings together employers from various industries in the public sector, in Education, Government, International Affairs, Politics, and Non-Profits, providing students with an exciting opportunity to explore these local industries and make a difference,” says Natasha DeAlmeida-Atwal, employer relations specialist and fair organizer.
Annette McLaughlin, director of the Career Center, is proud of the work of both the students and employers attending this fair and is hopeful for the results following the fair: “Employers and students who attend this fair are so dialed in to serving others and making an impact on the world. The Social Impact and Non-Profit Micro-Fair is open to students of all class years in Fordham College Rose Hill, Fordham College Lincoln Center, Gabelli School of Business Undergraduate Programs, School of Professional and Continuing Studies, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Graduate School of Education.
