The Fordham Career Center is proud to host the Social Impact and Sustainability Fair on Wednesday, March 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lowenstein 12th Floor Lounge, Lincoln Center Campus. As the last career and internship fair of the semester, the Social Impact and Sustainability Fair will welcome students from all majors and academic backgrounds to network with employers, discover potential career paths, and learn about job and internship opportunities.

2025 Spring All-Industry Fair to Be Held Jan. 29 at Rose Hill Campus
The Fordham Career Center is proud to host the Spring All-Industry Career & Internship Fair on Wednesday, January 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the McShane Center Great Hall, Rose Hill Campus. As the semester’s only all-industry fair, the Spring Fair will welcome students from all majors and academic backgrounds to network with employers, discover potential career paths, and learn about job and internship opportunities.

The Career Center is thrilled to host our 2025 Social Impact and Sustainability Fair! This event will be held at Lincoln Center, 12th FL Lowenstein is open to all industries and it provides the opportunity to meet employers looking for students from a variety of areas. Employers attending are encouraged to post current job/internship openings as well as discuss future opportunities. Attending the fair is beneficial for exploring career paths within different industry sectors, networking, and learning more about recruiting and application timelines.
Career Fair Checklist:
Before the Fair
Research the companies in Handshake in which you are interested so you can tailor your professional pitch to them and ask relevant questions.
Visit with a Career Counselor to proofread your resume for grammar, spelling, etc. and print at least 10-15 copies on resume paper.
Draft your 30-second pitch and practice it beforehand.
Dress appropriately! Business professional is always a safe choice.
During the Fair
Smile and be engaging – make eye contact and introduce yourself.
Ask questions about their career opportunities, including next steps in the hiring process and take note of application deadlines.
Be aware that employers have a limited amount of time and ask for their email to follow up.
Make notes to remember information for your follow-up email.
Talk with a variety of companies even if they don’t have immediate openings in your field.
After the Fair
Follow-up within 24 hours with a personalized thank you note by email.
Make an appointment with your counselor to discuss your job fair experience, draft a thank-you note, and/or share your questions or concerns.
