Health Professions Fair
The Pre-Health Advisors at FCRH and the Career Center invite you to visit the Health Professions Fair to learn about various medical schools and other health professions.
The Health Professions Fair allows Fordham University students to talk and network with PA, MD, DO, and Dental school admissions officers. This event will provide a great atmosphere where students can gain further insights into some tips and advice that may help them when ready to apply to various graduate programs. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for students to identify components of various schools that stand out to them in their application process.
Curls, Coffee, and Careers
Curls Coffee and Careers will be a professional development event hosted by CurlTalk! During this program, CurlTalk will be actively trying to expand our scope of resources beyond typical programming. Through this event, we hope to provide valuable information regarding available resources, advice, and the tools necessary to be successful in your professional development and career journeys. This event will also serve as a networking opportunity for Fordham Students to engage with other club leaders and students. The event will consist of a panel where we will invite multiple familiar-faced and experienced Fordham professionals to share their stories and advice on various topics such as professionalism, imposter syndrome, etc. This would be a great time to expand your LinkedIn connections!
ScribeAmerica Coffee Chat Sessions
Coffee Chats allow for employers and students to connect informally for 1:1 or small group conversations. Students can reserve a 20-minute meeting with a ScribeAmerica Talent Acquisition Advisor to discuss the organization’s Medical Scribe job opportunity, along with the organization as a whole. Students should be interested in ScribeAmerica’s Medical Scribe job opportunities.
NYC Pride Tabling Event
Heritage of Pride is the nonprofit organization that plans and produces New York City’s official LGBTQIA+ Pride events. More than 800 volunteers are needed each year to put on the Pride March, PrideFest (the largest LGBTQIA+ street festival in the country), and much more! Come learn how you volunteer to support NYC Pride 2024!
CIBC Coffee Chat Sessions
Coffee Chats allow for employers and students to connect informally for 1:1 or small group conversations. Students can reserve a 15-minute meeting with a CIBC recruiter to discuss the firm’s open internship and full-time job opportunities, along with the firm as a whole. Students should be interested in a career in banking with CIBC.
NBCU Information Session and Networking
NBCU will be visiting Fordham on April 3rd at 3 PM. Students should expect to meet the staff from all aspects of the business from finance, to marketing, to production. Open to all majors.
Healthcare Panel & Networking with Fordham Alumni!
This event is designed to provide networking and mentorship opportunities for our diverse pre-health population at FCRH and FCLC. This will be a wonderful opportunity to engage in great conversation, share valuable experiences and insights, and help foster career exploration. We will have a panel followed by roundtable discussions and open networking. Hear from esteemed panelists including (and more to come!), Cathleen Raggio, MD Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, HSS Maria Shevchuk-Chaban, MD Pathologist (retired) Camelia Lawrence, MD Director of Breast Surgery, Hospital of Central CT & Midstate Medical Center.
Dallas Police Department Tabling Event
The Dallas Police Department will be at Fordham University for an in-person table presentation February 8th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. We will have representatives from the Recruiting and Lateral Unit, and a Background investigator to answer all your questions regarding application and testing with the Dallas Police Department.
