That mighty force is the lifeblood of the greatest Navy ever to sail unstoppably upon it, slip stealthily beneath it or fly unchallenged above it. When a patient enters a hospital, there are, on average, 37 individuals who directly contribute to the patient’s care. Although perhaps the least visible, health informaticists have one of the most significant impacts on the quality of patients’ care. Join Dr. Meghan Lockard as she talks about the Applied Health Informatics program at Fordham University, where she will describe what this highly in-demand and lucrative role does, what the training looks like in our program, and the boundless potential of its career prospects.
