GO Tutor Corps is an education non-profit that provides high-dosage tutoring to public schools that serve low-income, historically marginalized communities. Today, we’re sitting down with recruiter Michielle Corpuz to get the scoop on career tips, application advice, and more.

Everyone here is passionate about helping students and professionally developing/supporting our Fellows.

They’re very thoughtful and want to make a positive impact on the world.
What’s your best advice for graduating seniors who are seeking a job?
Don’t get defeated over one job. Unfortunately, you gotta keep on pushing!
What’s your biggest red flag in an interview?
Not knowing anything about the company/organization!
How can students stand out in the recruiting process?
Be prepared, thoughtful, and kind.
